%0A French dancer and choreographer Angelin Preljocaj and his Aix-en-Provence based company have enthused Luxembourg audiences on numerous occasions, the last time in 2015 with Retour à Berratham, his second collaboration with author Laurent Mauvignier. Now he returns to the Grand Théâtre with 15 dancers to investigate one of the fundamental forces that govern the universe – gravity. It is invisible, intangible, essential and refers to the force which means two masses are attracted to one another. The issues of weight, space, speed and mass have intuitively run through many of Preljocaj’s choreographic experiments in the past and within this new creation he will explore different degrees of gravity, imagining sensations of weight and mobility from the lightest to the most crushing and invent a series of gestures specific to each one. Each gravity will also be paired with a musical work specifically chosen for its timbre, structure, rhythm and texture and will include works by Gérard Grisey, Philip Glass and Johann Sebastian Bach.%0A%0A
