For September’s Lucilin in the City, this month’s curator, violinist André Pons-Valdès, has devised a concert for string quartet and clarinet based on great piano works of the classical repertoire reworked by contemporary composers… but without the piano, “bringing it to life in other timbres, the caress of the strings and the breath of the clarinet. A journey through different eras, a rebirth.” (André Pons-Valdès)
