The photographs and video installations of Aneta Grzeszykowska, Krystyna Dul, Eman Khokhar and Celeste Leeuwenburg each bring their own sensibility to the universal relationship between mother and daughter. These works express everything (or almost everything) contained within this relationship, from the process of constructing the personality of daughters through their identification with the mother, to their closeness and the daughter’s identification with the maternal figure. The journey of a lifetime – or of several lifetimes!
