May means the return of nice weather and local neighbourhood fairs. From 18 to 23 May, Place Thorn, in the centre of the Merl neighbourhood, will host the Märeler Kiermes. Meanwhile the Gasperécher Kiermes will take place from 2 to 6 June on Place Bei der Auer in Gasperich.
