One year ago, on 8 March 2022, for International Women’s Day, Collective Wednesday created a pop-up photo studio. Attendees were invited to share their views on a more equal future.
This resulted in the exhibition Art Tells, Posters Scream, on display at Place de Strasbourg until spring. By linking photography to a social cause, the collective brings society’s inequalities to the forefront while confirming women’s role as a force for social change. Founded in 2022, the organisation’s aim is to create a virtual exhibition space and a tool to encourage artistic creation in connection with societal challenges.
