The tram arrives in Bonnevoie

On 11 September, the tram previously connecting Luxexpo to the central station arrived in the Bonnevoie neighbourhood. Since 2 August, passenger-free test drives have been carried out in real operating conditions. During this ‘practice run’ phase, the tram ran at regular times to ensure all users get used to the new set-up and to sharing the public space along this new tram section. Two new stations on the route, Leschte Steiwer/Dernier Sol and Lycée Bouneweg/Lycée de Bonnevoie, have recently become accessible to users. The Lycée Bouneweg/Lycée de Bonnevoie interchange hub allows users to take another mode of transport to continue their journey. Various information panels have been installed along the new section, reminding people using the public space that the tram now runs in Bonnevoie and advising them to stay alert.
