What is the Equalcity project?
The project helps local authorities promote the inclusion and protection of migrant communities that have been victims of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV). In Luxembourg, the project focused on migrant women and girls.
How is the toolkit deployed?
Equalcity has been implemented in four pilot cities: Luxembourg, Brussels, Rome and Gothenburg. Each city focused on a particular theme and developed a specific toolkit according to its grassroots requirements.
What is the purpose of the toolkit?
The purpose behind the toolkit is to strengthen the capacity of frontline workers to better understand victims or survivors with a range of practical and theoretical training tools adapted to the subject of SGBV.
