There are several exhibitions waiting to be discovered across the city.
Launched in 2019 on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Luxembourg National Research Fund, the FNR Science Image Competition allows researchers, scientific communicators and foundations to compete through photography. The award-winning images can be seen at Place Auguste Laurent.
For its part, the Place de Strasbourg is hosting a photography exhibition organised by the NGO Les Amis du Tibet Luxembourg (Friends of Tibet Luxembourg). Its objective: to shed light on six decades of Tibetan exile in India and explore these Tibetans’ stories, hopes and aspirations.
Until January, Merl park will host 17 panels as part of the Réflexions Reflections exhibition. This photographic project brings together works produced by independent artist Véronique Kolber as well as by students from the Lycée Aline Mayrisch who are taking optional courses in photography supervised by their arts education teacher Séverine Bauer. As a group, they are interested in themes such as memory, reality and fiction.
