Jupiter Jones have been around, in one form or another, for the best part of 20 years. The German band, now made up of two original members, Nicholas Müller and Sascha Eigner, and touring musicians, are set to be one of the first bands to properly return to the stage post lockdown and they’re coming armed with a new album, written and recorded during the pandemic. For the uninitiated, there’s something of Imagine Dragons about Jupiter Jones. They are a genre hopping group who can easily jump from punk pop to acoustic ballad, to summer club banger, to chilled out beach vibes and back to stadium rock. Having been starved of live music for so long, they might be the perfect band to help you get back in the groove. Something for everyone and even new material for long time fans, this is going to be a show that will live long in the memory for a whole host of reasons.
