22/04 & 23/04, 20:00, Grand Théâtre, www.lestheatres.lu

Three years after presenting Dancing Grandmothers at the Grand Théâtre, Korean choreographer Eun-Me Ahn returns with her latest work Dragons. Five dancers from different Asian countries who were all born in the year 2000 – under the sign of the dragon – accompanied by six dancers from Eun-Me Ahn’s company retrace the history of Asia and its transformations. The performers’ energy and the artist’s imagination serve to create a show that paints a larger portrait of a place while also reflecting Eun-Me Ahn’s personal story. Rarely does a dance performance capture the reality of a time and a culture so well.
