In collaboration with the City of Luxembourg, students from the École de Commerce et de Gestion (ECG) carried out a small study in autumn 2020 on the impact of COVID-19 on pupils’ buying behaviour, focusing especially on e-shopping. Accompanied by their teachers, they presented their results at Cercle Cité in front of members of the college of aldermen, the Luxembourg City Business Association (UCVL), Letzshop and some of the City’s various departments, who were able to find out more about this initiative.
Around 250 students participated in the study, conducted as part of the ECG’s entrepreneurial branch, which aimed to help young people discover more about the business world. In fact, since the ‘Entrepreneurial Schools’ programme was signed with the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth, developing the spirit of initiative has been a major priority for the ECG. This is the third study carried out by the ECG’s entrepreneurial branch for the City of Luxembourg. A fourth study is to follow in September 2021.
