What is Orange Week all about and what is the purpose of it?
It is a UN initiative intended to raise public awareness about violence against women and girls and to end gender-based violence.
Which projects have been set up?
A number of actions will be carried out in Luxembourg. For instance, public buildings will be illuminated in orange, a solidarity march will take place, exhibitions and now online campaigns will be organised.
How can people get involved?
People can join the solidarity march, on 21 November at 11:00 at Place de la Résistance in Esch-sur-Alzette. They can also light an orange candle on 25 November, which is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
