The État Civil is still open for business

The État Civil continues to fulfil its responsibilities and and perform its tasks on the ground, all the while respecting security measures and safety distances. Its team of 12 employees on a rotating basis in groups of 4, alternating between working at the counter, working from home or being placed on furlough leave. The opening hours have changed and entry to the premises is monitored by a security guard. People declaring a birth/death are given priority access to the Bierger-Center, and marriage/civil partnership applications can be submitted by appointment only. The État Civil is equipped with computer hardware if the counters were to close.
