Following the official inauguration on 30 September, Luxembourg’s new National Library opened its doors to the general public on 1 October. Some 300,000 books can be borrowed, and the new building features reading rooms on various levels, chill-out pods, family facilities and an exhibition room. An automatic book transfer system enables readers to return borrowed items 24/7.
Open Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
