Climate change exhibited

From the Antarctic to Greenland, Siberia to Alaska, Michel Rawicki has been travelling across and photographing the polar regions for more than 25 years. The passionate photographer aims to capture our changing world during this time of climate crisis. His Planète Nanuk exhibition at Knuedler will also celebrate the international release of his second collection dedicated to polar bears, an animal which has come to represent the climate crisis around the world. In the same vein, the Luxembourgish photographer Eilo Elvinger will showcase her exhibition Blanc Cassé at place Laurent, Limpertsberg. She takes us to the Arctic environment, where the melting ice and the polar bear habitats’ disappearance are deadly realities. Through theirs photos, Eilo Elvinger and Michel Rawicki call for the preservation of fragile lands, which act as an essential link in our ecosystem.
