25 years of UNESCO heritage

The “25 Years World Heritage” campaign was launched on 3 July, along with a call for projects for event organisers aiming to obtain the same label. The official programme will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Luxembourg’s old quarters and fortifications’ first inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The programme can be found on the dedicated website, launched in the presence of Sam Tanson, minister of culture; Lydie Polfer, City of Luxembourg mayor; and Simone Beck, president of the Luxembourg Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO.
