The Streeta(rt)nimation festival is a colourful whirlwind of music and laughter that has been invading the streets of our capital for the past 25 years, turning the city centre into an open stage every summer, this year to the theme of fantasy and wonderment. Companies from around the world will be transforming the first days of August into one great big celebration designed to showcase the richness of silent theatre and theatre of movement. Jugglers, musicians, stilt walkers, acrobats, dancers and other clowns will be delighting crowds from place d’Armes to place Guillaume II, with an artists’ parade kicking things off on Friday 2 August, to be followed by around a hundred or so performances guaranteed to really bring the city to life. The Streeta(rt)nimation festival is a truly unmissable part of the Summer in the City celebrations.
