Long live monsters!

On Friday 24 May, the opening of the Mein Mönster exhibition at the Laval park in Luxembourg-Eich took place in the presence of Colette Mart, the alderwoman responsible for education, schools and child care centres as well as a group of young participants and representatives from the Association for the support of migrant workers (ASTI). Some 75 monsters were made out of recycled materials by nearly 150 children of 5 different nationalities, including children from the Eich and Kiem child care centres and ASTI’s Kannernascht. The monsters, which symbolically represent fear of others, have been installed on trees to highlight the idea of people from different backgrounds living together.

Exhibition with free admission until September 2019. Parc Laval, Luxembourg-Eich.
