«Kinnekswiss loves… » is back

Luxembourg city’s increasingly successful outdoor summer festival organised by the Luxembourg City Tourist Office and the City of Luxembourg returns this year to Kinnekswiss municipal park for its third edition, consisting of three days of music.

The Luxembourg National Jazz Orchestra will be joining forces with Estro Armonico, under the direction of Gast Waltzing, to get the festivities under way, with the orchestra also set to perform a series of Luxembourgish songs arranged by David Laborier.

Sir Bryn Terfel will be thrilling audiences with his powerful voice and warm tones when he teams up with the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, under the direction of Gustavo Gimeno, and soprano Lauren Fagen to expertly perform some of the greatest operatic arias ever written. Grab a glass, bring your picnic, and let Sir Bryn and his friends provide the ambience!

The Luxembourg Chamber Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatory of the City of Luxembourg will be joining forces for a “Musicroissant” concert that promises to be as much a treat for the ears as for the taste buds.

▸ 17:00 – Carmina Burana
Carl Orff’s grandiose and effervescent Carmina Burana will be sending shivers right down the spines of those present thanks to performances by the Luxembourg Chamber Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra, Pueri Cantores, the Chorale des Jeunes youth choir, the Chamber Choir and the Mixed Choir of the Conservatory of the City Luxembourg, directed by Marc Meyers.
