Congés annulés

Once upon a time, in a small little country in the heart of Europe, once a year, in the month of August, the little country’s entire population would go on holiday, leaving the country empty and leaving those left behind with nothing to do
in the evenings or at weekends. Thankfully, the good people at Rotondes stepped in to save the “left behinds” from a life of boredom with a month-long festival featuring concerts, showcases, DJ sets, documentaries and outdoor cinema screenings. Here are some of the highlights:

The Beths
▸ 21/08

As the festival heads towards its conclusion, even the most hardened gig goers can start to feel a bit of fatigue setting in. With that in mind, The Beths are like a big splash of fresh water at the end of a run or a refreshing sorbet at the end of a heavy meal.
