What’s the festival about?
This year, the human rights festival takes place from 29 November to 10 December as part of the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We’re organising various events and we’re encouraging people to take part in the Write for Rights campaign.
What’s on the line-up?
The three events not to miss in town are: the Amnesty Medienpräis award including a panel discussion on the current state of freedom of expression in Europe, a film screening on human rights in Cambodia and the traditional torchlight march.
What’s new this year?
This year, we’ll be shining the spotlight on courageous women. By taking part in the events, you’ll be able to take concrete action helping nine female human rights activists from all over the world.
