If you arrived in Luxembourg after 2006, you will no doubt have been given the Just Arrived practical residents’ guide when you registered with your local authority. A network of citizen ambassadors (made up of around 30 different nationalities) was set up a few months ago to help new arrivals settle in to life in their new town. The Just Arrived Ambassadors’ Club will be organising various events designed to enable new arrivals to make contact and facilitate inter-community exchange, the first of which is set to take place on Thursday 19 October at the Lëtzebuerg City Museum. The helpdesk is also open every Tuesday from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at the Service d’intégration of the City of Luxembourg.
