The Bauhärepräis OAI award is given out every 4 years to private or public developers whose completed project features outstanding architecture, engineering and planning. This year, 317 developers and clients of construction projects have registered for the 5th awards. A record number.
In addition to the number of participants, the quality of the projects is particularly impressive, as highlighted by the independent panel put together by the organiser, consisting of a balanced mix of architects and structural engineers representing their trade bodies in the greater Luxembourg region.
An exhibition dedicated to the Bauhärepräis OAI 2016 is also being staged in partnership with the City of Luxembourg, with the aim of encouraging future developers and clients of building projects to be better informed and more aware of their decisive role in society, and to take full responsibility for building a sustainable living environment for the rest of us.
